SZATMÁR-BEREG HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL BATH
The Szatmár-Bereg Hospital and Health Bath has been serving the medical provision of the 90 thousand inhabitants of Fehérgyarmat and Vásárosnamény regions since 1996.
Since the integration of the two hospitals we have been continuously developing. The old buildings have been renovated, a new clinic and new wings have been built.
On 1st April 2007 our hospital became one of the 39 seeded hospitals of the country.
We have an integrated quality-controlled system and we have both the international and national quality certificates.
Our equipment is high-quality. Besides the medical basic departments we have Ear-Nose-Throat Department, Anaesthesiology Department, Intensive Therapy Department, Rehabilitation Department, Chronic and Nursing Departments and we have several out-patient clinics.
Our doctors are very well-qualified; we have new, modern well-equipped operation rooms. The number of operations performed with laparoscopy and endoscopy is very high. The Maternal and Gynecological Department offers modern labor room and Caesarean operational room to pregnant women.
In Fehérgyarmat a medical bath complex was built so since that time our name has been Szatmár-Bereg Hospital and Medical Bath.
The 44°C medical water wells up from 1000 meter depth. This water is good for locomotor and chronic gynecological diseases.
The modern Rehabilitation Centre accepts patients with locomotor, heart, brain and other circulatory diseases and patients after bone operation and those who had accidents.
There are one two or three beds in one room. The out-patient department and the physiotherapic surgeries and the gymnasiums in the basement are well-equipped. With a closed corridor it is in connection with the medical bath.
Patients waiting for the rehabilitation or to the medical bath can come to the clinical treatments (rheumatology, orthopedics, traumatology, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology) with a GP’s referral. Our specialists put our patients down for 2-3-week therapies.
